Simulated Testing
We offer the option of simulating a test for either mutagenicity (Muta-LabTM Synthetic) or toxicity (Toxi-LabTM Synthetic).
Synthetic Muta-LabTM Kit: Students will perform a procedure that simulates reverse mutation in bacteria after exposure to different compounds. EBPI designed this kit to give reproducible results that are typical of the bacterial based experiment. This program is ideal for students completing a quick and effective lab experiment as well as learning new concepts and themes in relation to biotechnology and environmental toxicology. Our synthetic Muta-LabTM high school biotechnology kit provide an excellent means of simulating a widely used test for the mutagenicity of chemicals.
Synthetic Toxi-LabTM Kit: Our synthetic Toxi-LabTM high school biotechnology kit provide an excellent means of simulating a widely used test to measure the toxicity levels of substances, allowing students to simulate and understand the process of how we test for toxicity levels in our environment. Our high school biotechnology kits can be applied to a number of scientific topics such as biotechnology, genetics, cell biology, and microbiology. Results are available immediately after completion of the procedure.
